Loan Officer

Overview

The Loan Officer assists clients with loan applications, evaluates credit histories, and guides them through the loan approval process. This role focuses on residential and personal lending products, ensuring clients receive the best possible lending solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Client Assistance: Assist clients with loan applications and provide guidance throughout the process.

  • Credit Evaluation: Evaluate clients' credit histories to determine eligibility for loans.

  • Loan Approval: Guide clients through the loan approval process.

  • Product Focus: Specialize in residential and personal lending products.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in mortgage and consumer lending.

  • Skills:

    • Strong understanding of lending products and processes.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to evaluate credit histories and make sound lending decisions.

    • Experience with loan processing software.
